OUR HISTORY:

  In 1987 Floyd Beckman purchased the operating authority of a trucking company based in Cardington, OH called H&W Trucking, Inc. Shortly after it’s purchase H&W Trucking, Inc. was reopened with different ownership in Buckeye Lake, OH. The company operated solely as a Transportation Broker, something it still does today.

  In 1994 H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. was created by Bart Beckman to provide services beyond what the brokerage division was capable of offering. It was the vision of Mr. Beckman to create a company where employees and contractors would work side by side to serve the needs of a growing customer base. By combining trucking experience with solid finances H&W Contract Carriers was not only able to grow, it was also able to weather the economical storms that devastated so many small companies.

  With the success of H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. allowing for continual growth over a five-year period, H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. was looking to expand it’s services to grab a bigger piece of the Transportation Market. In late 1999 a refrigerated division was created to help accomplish this goal.

  Since 1999 H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. has provided its customers with van, refrigerated and flatbed equipment and used experienced owner/operators who are committed to our goal of customer satisfaction. Our continuing drive for excellence has allowed H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. to become one of the finest Mid-Sized carriers in the state of Ohio.

We believe in the use of new equipment, experienced drivers, and dispatchers who have come from all areas of the Transportation Industry.
