H&W Contract Carriers, Inc. employs Owner/Operators with a minimum of two years. experience. We prefer newer model trucks and if applicable, newer model trailers (within 10yrs.). Any Owner/Operator wishing to be considered for employment must not have ANY history of drug problems or alcohol problems within the past six years. This includes not only convictions but also DOT violations.

We offer a pay scale of 70% to Owner/Operators without their own trailers and 80% to those who do have trailers. There is no forced dispatch and there is a $2000.00 Escrow Account payable to the Owner within 60 days following termination. All Owners are paid weekly providing that they have turned in all required paperwork. We also offer Direct Deposit for those who are on the road often.

Those working in our refrigerated division are responsible for the purchase of their Reefer Fuel, regardless of whether or not they own the trailer.
